Her flower farm is a delightful haven for those who appreciate locally grown and freshly cut blooms. But it's not just the flowers that make HannaH’s business unique – it’s her infectious passion for growing them.
Hannah’s flower farm offers a wide range of products, including single stems, pre-made bouquets, seed packets, and potted flowering plants. You can find her blooms at the flower market, or you can order directly from her via DM or email. With her Bachelors degree in crops and horticulture from Chico State, Hannah started growing flowers for her neighborhood seven years ago. And in 2021, she finally realized her dream of becoming an official flower farmer.
Being a grower is not without its challenges, and Hannah knows it all too well. She faces challenges from pests such as gophers and keeping plants alive during our crazy hot summers. But she loves the growing process and witnessing the transformation of a tiny seed into a beautiful bloom. Hannah’s passion and hard work show in the quality of her flowers, especially her specialty – the stunning ranunculus, which she grows well and even had a few unexpected blooms that brightened her day mid-august!
For Hannah, the future of flower growers in the region looks bright. She hopes that more people will appreciate the benefits of locally grown flowers, and that more flowers will be grown. In addition to flowers, Hannah is also a certified arborist. She offers home consultations on the side for anyone with concerns or questions about their trees.
